Chris Layhe is a singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is co-founder and bass player with The Icicle Works. In 1984 the Liverpool act charted in the UK Top 20 with the song Love Is A Wonderful Colour.
The Icicle Works also achieved success on the US Billboard Chart with the Top 40 entry, Bird’s Fly / A Whisper To A Scream. The latter being featured in the sci-fi horror series Stranger Things.
Performing solo and with guest musicians, Chris is set to release his new 3 track CD EP, It’s My Way in September 2023.
